Is it just the British, or do other countries completely ignore the music scenes from anywhere outside of the Anglo-American market? A big bug bear of mine is the lack of diversity in the music aired daily on the radio. I know that in most countries in the EU, radio stations play as much American/English music as they can and airing of their own is limited. This seems so wrong! I'm always looking for new artists, and a sizeable proportion are from countries all across the world and often are not even in my own language. Why do many people seem to have a problem with this? Is it because you can't sing the tune because you don't know the words?
